Humana 1 is an adapted infant formula made with whey protein: the casein proportion is 57 : 43.
It is suitable as a sole diet for the first six months of life or as supplementary to breast milk. Like breast milk it contains fatty acids, prebiotics and nucleotides.
Omega‐3 (docosahexaenoic acid/DHA) and Omega‐6 (arachidonic acid / ARA) fatty acids promote the proper development of the brain and eyesight and have a positive effect on the development of a child’s comprehensive abilities and psychomotor functions.
Prebiotics (galacto‐oligosaccharide) support the development of healthy intestinal micro‐flora, which contributes to the natural protection of a child's organism. It promotes good digestion and the formation of soft stool.
Nucleotides strengthen the organism's natural immune defences that make the body resistant to infections.
Preparation
13 g powder + 90 ml water = 100 ml ready‐to‐drink food. Dissolve the powder in freshly boiled water that has been cooled to 50°C (or Humana Baby Water that has been heated to 50°C).
